Uttering Threats

Per section 264.1 of the Criminal Code of Canada, such threats include knowingly making, conveying, or causing someone to receive a threat to cause death or bodily harm, or to damage property or harm animals. 

Penalty and/or sentence can be a monetary fine or up to 5 years of imprisonment.
